Legends about Tamarack Lodge date back to the early 1800s, when it began life as a blacksmith’s forge, then served as a water-powered wheelwright. It was transformed into a resort during the 1940s, and is today a sought-after destination. Accommodations include vintage cabins, a fully renovated guest house, and glamping tents with modern amenities.
Our Exclusive Wedding Package includes wedding coordination services and offers the full, exclusive use of our Main Lodge and choice of ceremony sites. It provides a beautiful setting for each element of your day. The layout is ideal for families with a mix of older and younger guests.

FOR YOUR RECEPTION:
Carriage Room: Vaulted ceilings, exposed post-and-beam architecture and reclaimed chandeliers make this rustic space a favorite for sit-down dinners of up to 120 guests.
Overlook Room: With windows on three sides offering sweeping views of the grounds and forest, the Overlook is a traditional, modern space with comfortable seating for 100 dinner guests or 100+ ceremony guests. (It’s also got great acoustics for an amazing night of dancing, and yes, you can totally hang a disco ball from the rafters.)
Library: Across from our large stone hearth is the library. This space is perfect for gift tables, photo retrospectives, guest book signings, and memorial displays, with space for friends to look and linger. The library overlooks the pergola, which in the summer months is bordered by hydrangeas, tiger lilies and lavender.
FOR YOUR CEREMONY:
Choice of ceremony site: Tamarack Lodge offers three lovely outdoor settings in which to exchange your vows:
- Brookside is a serene, forested space, and abuts the brook which runs the length of the property to Beach Pond. Long wooden benches offer seating for 40 guests, but there is plenty of room for onlookers and a large platform that can be used for more seating. Access is via a cleared trail.
- The Patio and Small Bandstand are located just beyond the pergola and the entrance to the main lodge. The elevated stage offers guests a great view of your entire ceremony.
- The Field Bell is located just past the Overlook Room, and offers views of the forest beyond. This historic feature is original to the property and bordered by a row of ancient White Pines.
Please note: We happily transport any guests with mobility issues to your outdoor ceremony via our golf cart. And because both indoor and outdoor areas are included in this package, you can rest easy knowing that your ceremony can be moved inside in case of inclement weather, for no additional charge.

Unparalleled support: On your wedding day, it makes all the difference when you can focus on what matters most. Included in our package are full wedding coordination services. We collaborate with you and your vendors to ensure that each stage of your celebration transitions seamlessly and joyfully.

• One-Hour Ceremony Rehearsal (Date and time are based on availability, but generally 72-24 hours prior to the ceremony)
• Two hours of decorating time on the day of the ceremony

The event timeline is a full, 8 hour-day. This includes ample time for decorating, wedding party photos, ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception with dinner, toasts and dancing.
* Food and beverage costs, which include table linens and napkins, are assessed separately.
